Rimes CEO, Brad Hunt, provides March 2023 executive update

As we kick off Q2, I am reassured by the resilience and adaptability shown by the investment community in the midst of challenging market conditions. Volatility, frequent index changes, and escalating data and operations costs continue to be areas of concern for our clients. As always, partnership is our priority at Rimes, and we continue to evolve our business to better serve our clients and help navigate these challenges.

Last year, we extended our enterprise data management capabilities with our acquisition and integration of Matrix Investment Data Management.  The response from our clients and industry partners has been consistently positive, and we are seeing increased demand for both our data management services and the investment intelligence that Matrix provides.    

To ensure we maximize the value we bring to our clients through our combined solution set, we have fully integrated the Rimes and Matrix product teams into a single organization led by Justin Brickwood, who has taken on additional responsibilities as Chief Product Officer. Justin’s Product Development team will be accountable for the product vision, roadmap and go-to-market strategies for the company.    

As part of these changes, Stuart Plane will take on delivering comprehensive services, technology solutions and implementations to our largest clients as Global Head of Enterprise Solutions. He will also continue to lead the Matrix business, based in Sydney, and act our senior representative for the APAC region.    

These changes will help us continue to innovate and partner with our clients to deliver best-in-class data management solutions.

I am also pleased to share that Rimes has been recognized for our efforts in the past few months, winning multiple industry awards, including the prestigious Waterstechnology award for Best Buy-side Managed Data Service and A-Team’s Most Innovative Data Quality Initiative Award for our ESG Master. In addition, Waters also gave our team the nod for Best Company for Diversity and Inclusion.  These accolades are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.
